A big "Thank you" to everyone who sponsored our son David in “The Great Birmingham Run”.

Last month, David ran the “Great Birmingham Run” dressed as “The Hulk”. He finished in good time, and raised £600 for CLLSA.

Back in September, I enjoyed a lovely free meal at the CLLSA meeting in Bristol, and wished afterwards that I’d left a donation to CLLSA funds. Then David said he was choosing CLLSA as the charity he’d support when doing his “Great Birmingham Run”. So, I reckon our family has now more than paid for my “free” lunch that day. :-)

Thanks again,

Paula and family

Thanks Nick. It was a treat for me too, to meet you over lunch at the Bristol get-together :-)

I'm recovering well from the surgery, but wish I had more energy and appetite. I guess these things take their time...
