I'd certainly be relieved to know that a growing number of new antibiotics was in the development pipeline. It would be rather ironic to have a great result from treatment for your CLL, only to succumb from an opportunistic bacterial infection that we couldn't fight due to our treatment lowered immune system and lack of suitable antibiotics.
