Does anyone know if it's possible to buy life insurance after a CLL diagnosis? Has anyone been able to do it? Thanks.

CLL and life insurance

In the U.S., you can get a lot of different kinds of life insurance. Life insurance through your or a spouse's employer often ignores pre-existing conditions. That's how I do mine. We've both even changed employers after diagnosis, and asked our HR departments about it.
There are more expensive policies marketed to senior citizens that claim to not require a doctor examination. But it's all in the fine print.
Have a look at the tips below:

Thank you. Good info. Unfortunately I'm single and self-employed so the spouse and employer options are not available to me, but I'll contact an agent this week to see what my options are. Thanks again.
I’m also self employed and yes all insurance or most all carriers provide group policy’s. These business group policies don’t ask and there are no exclusions. The only thing is the policy limits are typically 100,000 up to age 70 then they drop to 50,000. In any event it’s coverage and very cheap. I provide all my employees with it at no cost to them it’s only 13 dollars per person.
I have a life insurance since 1998 ( pre diagnosis)
Can’t raise it due to my illness and I can’t lie either cause if I die they will know how long I have had SLL
