Behaviour in Alpha 1 ATD kids

Hi there. My son (now 14) was diagnosed with alpha1 ATD at 9 weeks with liver complications. At 7 he was diagnosed with ADD which now at 14 seems to become ADHD and he has been put on Ritalin. We are having a lot of behaviour problems too, and wonder if anyone has (had) similar issues

As a mother of a 5 yr old with A1ATD have been watching with interest to see if there's any connection. Sorry you've had no replies though. I don't think my son has ADHD but I do feel hes emotionally immature compared to his peers so wondered if there is a connection with A1atd and behaviour. Which hospital are you under? Just wondered if you'd asked them if theres any connection? Hope you're getting good support. Best wishes
