Post Kasai_ biliary atresia

My son is 6 months last week, he had biliary atresia and they did the kasai at 5 weeks, the jaundice is still there, how long does it take to clear? Also he was diagnosed with Cirrhosis of the liver. We start solids this week. The stool has changed to yellow now but sometimes it's oily. We were recommended for a liver transplant and its not done in my country. The nearest country is India and its quiet costly, praying to God for the best and praying for you all.

Hi,my son is 9 month old suffering from same disease.kasai was done in Jan 2024 but it failed .liver transplant is to be done on 27th aug 2024 in sir Gangaram ram hospital Delhi under doctor Nishant wadhwa,and surgeon ushast dhir.i don't know the result but they r very supportive right now

May I knw on what basis they suggested for transplant, do his jaundice still high?

Bilurbin is not less than 2,he is not gaining weight .still weight is 6.9 kg
