Hi all. My son still admitted. But not in the hospital he had his kasai, as the hospital advised us to go to nearest pediatrics hospital before if there is a temperature change. Yet they(his gastro team) are still in contact with the doctors here. Fever going up and down. 38. 37 36 37 38. Doctorz still ruling out cologitis as his bili not hiking and temperatures also not spiking.not gvg him uv antibiotics yet as they want his body antibody to fight first. Now as i noticed his eyes are slightly getting yellowish. Told the doctors. They said will run blood test again. Am i in right track. Anyone had this experience before? I noticed my son will ve active during temperature is 36-37 and very dull during 38-39. Its like up and down every few hours.

I think the numbers are different here in the US. But I will tell you that my daughter had Cholengitis about 8 times before transplant, and they did not all have a fever. Also, her Bili was always normal after Kasai. Have they done ultrasounds? Go with your gut feeling and tell the doctors how you feel. My Daughter has her first Cholengitis episode two weeks after her Kasai. She had to stay in the hospital for Ivy antibiotics for two weeks. Best wishes for your warrior.

She is doing great. A few

Ups and downs, but she is thriving. A transplant is just like trading one beast for another. We still have things to worry about, but our babies have a second chance of life

Hey there. Can I ask what the cholangitis symptom was you noticed for your daughter if she didn’t have a fever? We are 2 months post kasai and I’m nervous about cholangitis. Thanks
