Hello, can anyone advise on holiday insurance for my daughter, who is aged 12 and coming up to 5 years post liver transplant. I have got travel insurance before through a local broker and it was extremely expensive. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi. We use World first travel insurance. They are cheaper because they base the premium on recent hospital admissions and medication changes rather than just on diagnosis. We have never had to claim though so can't comment about that aspect. Hope you get your insurance sorted and have a great holiday.

We've just got ours for the whole family from avanti. I found it among others on the cldf website. Our son is 15 years post transplant and for him and the rest of the family it was very, very reasonable. Also, I could do it all on line which was great.
