Hi my son July got kasai producer but now bilirubin high lft also high doctor told to me my son have two various types of infection ?my son motion is black and green what to do? kasai producer failed tell me anything my son counting the days

Dark Green poo is good that means some bile is getting through. He probably has cholangitis. Are they treating him with iv antibiotics? This is very common after Kasai. My daughter had lots of cholangitis after her Kasia but is doing really well now.

hi vent my son have a cholangitis. is it one time and he will be on the trasplant list or should it be many times of cholangitis?

My daughter has had lots of bouts of cholangitis but has not had a transplant. Just make sure if your child gets a temperature or pale stools you get it checked quickly so if it is cholangitis it can be treated.

Hi, it takes a couple of months sometimes more to see if Kasai is working. Overall trend of his lab numbers should be downward as getting to normal takes a long time. Green poop is good, black should be checked for blood. Infection if cholangitis needs to be treated with IV antibiotics. Is he on any? Hope he is getting better.
