To my understanding it varies, some people have one and are completely fine, some people need more due to different reasons. The 5 year survival stats currently say that 73% patients will be alive after this time without the need of another transplant. So, the possibility is there but with constantly increasing survival rates this might be unlikely. Take care of your liver and you'll be fine :)
