MMR jab in South Wales

Hello,

Has anyone in the South Wales area had their little one immunised earlier than planned due to the current Measles outbreak? Our daughter has just turned three and has Alpha 1 ATD and Alagilles (bit of an unknown quantity together) and when I contacted our GP's they didn't want to know initially. Friends of ours have had early jabs, no questions asked but I always seem to have a battle on my hands with our surgery. Any advice would be greatly appreciated?

Thanks all.

Hmm, time to change surgery?? I live in Kent and asked our GP about our 2 1/2 year old boy who is healthy but has an older brother (fully vaccinated) who's just gone on the transplant list. They checked with Public Health people and said if we were travelling to South Wales they would give him early MMR vaccine no problem.
