Hi

First time poster. I'm a 49 aged male and was diagnosed with high chlorestrol when i was 18 and have been taking medication over that period up to 12 months ago. I've lost count have many years i was taking statins but it must have been 20-25 years ! Prior to that the NHS prescribed me a powder mix taken with water ( i can't recall the name). After many many years of not feeling 100% and after reading the various issues surrounding statins i decided to simple give them up. I didn't speak with my doctor, just weaned myself off them over a 4 week period. For past 11 months I've been taking this proargi 9 supplement. I really need to have a blood test to see what my level is as haven't done so since coming off statins. How do i feel - much better . My concern know is have i got myself in a corner taking the proargi 9 plus it's a financial cost given its not available on the NHS. To complicate matters, I suffered a severe episode of Crohn's Disease c 11 years ago being off work for 3-4 months, Fortunately it's not returned. I'm pretty careful with my diet plus take medication for this illness. Any views greatly appreciated .
