When these test results were given did you get the blood test results range.?

You say you feel fine, as you sayyou are taking medication for low BP, are you on any other medication or has your discussed any medication after the blood test?

I don't understand how you can have triglycerides 33.7 with a cholesterol of 14.6.

It is difficult to comment without more numbers and the ranges for the ones that you provide - that said, what did your GP say to you about the results? Are you scheduled for follow-up tests?

Do you have numbers for LDL and HDL?

Total cholesterol = LDL + HDL + Triglyceride /5 + (IDL + VLDL). Because IDL and VLL are very small in number, the formula has been modified to TC = HDL + LDL + (TRIG/5)

The numbers given:

14.6 = HDL + LDL + (33.7/5)

14.6 = HDL + LDL + 6.74.

If you know the DHL and LDL numbers you can work out the ratio to get some understanding!
