Hi Yanna yes I have been on it for well over a year. How are you evaluating whether its working ?

yanna in reply toMarkl60

are you taking FRUITFLOW instead of aspirin prescribed by a doctor for heart condition or stroke? Is your condition better after taking FRUITFLOW , as you said, for over a year?

Markl60 profile image
Markl60 in reply toyanna

I am doing fine with it thanks. Is it better than Aspirin well trials suggest it is and without the side effects but then again it costs more

"Fruitflow® showed up to 30% reduction from baseline platelet aggregation in each of three different biological pathways, while a single dose of aspirin caused up to 60% reduction in a single pathway, with lesser effects on the other two. The broader antiplatelet effect of Fruitflow® reflects the Company's aim to provide a daily dietary supplement with a significant effect on blood flow, but without suppressing platelet aggregation completely."

Thanks for your reply, Mark 160! Now, if I may..have you been back to the doctor for a follow up on your condition and did the tests results show improvement from the past year?

Thank you, so much for your help!

Hi Yanna, I do not consult my doctor at all. Because I chose to not take statins they have pretty much washed their hands of me I'm afraid so I check things myself. The test I have annually and some twice a year are detailed here with explanations

So,Mark 160, in a nut shell, do you think that by taking FRUITFLOW for over a year has helped you to stay healthy and away from heart and stroke problems?

Markl60 profile image
Markl60 in reply toyanna

Yes I do Yanna but I am also a data guy so I like to see objective numbers and I cannot give you any on this score unlike say Lp(a) which when I stop taking Vit C go's up to around 30 but when I take Vit C it drop to a current low of 18.

I use Swanson fruitflow ordered on Amazon (no personal connection), in fact I have just ordered some.

Also, please include if you are male or female and if over age 65. Also, I would prefer that you weaned yourself off the aspirin and then started FRUITFLOW.

Thanks!

Very interesting discussion! Aspirin allergy? salicylate allergy?

Supplements vs man made medication!

I am not sure if there is enough data on this product.

Hi Yanna. Never heard of it , what is it for

sandybrown profile image
sandybrown in reply tomeganbelle

This product is to help with blood flow!!!!

Tomato has good values to help with heart problems!. This so called new product is available in many form, tomato extract and other things are made to offer one a day supplement, very expensive to buy on line.

If you look at the fresh juice section in some upper market you may find this product as ingredient.

After reading about tomato and it's goodness, I make a tomato salad with onions, chillies and olive oil for lunch. The natural way, not very expensive. Tomato, red onions and mozzarella salad is also another way of consuming tomato.

thanks for your reply , bala. My problem is that I don't see tomato on any list for high salicylates, which is what aspirin is. Tomato is also of the nightshade family.

When I checked on AMAZON, Swanson seems to be the only reliable source and they only offer in capsules and ,I think I read that one has to take 3 of these. Seems like a lot to take.

I should think that if this FRUITFLOW were that great that everyone would be buying it and it would be offered everywhere. Not only that, it is not all that expensive to buy on AMAZON. $9.99 for a month supply is not bad at all, when you conciser that Q10 is three times that for same amount.

Bottom line for me is that I just want to get off this asprin (which I am doing, very slowly now) and find out which foods will help keep my blood flowing smoothly , the way it should.

Ok, you want to come off statin. What are your cholesterol lipid numbers?

80% come from human body on demand and 20 % from food intake, they say regular exercise and food and drinks intake control can help towards a healthy life.

for me I want to enjoy one life as much as I can with out stressing. I am 70, overweight but fit, healthy and so far no medication, only time will tell.

I go to the gym at least 5 days a week.

NOT STATINS! I'm coming off aspirin! The reports that the hospital and the doctor gave me , I cannot understand. They have CBC, PLATELETS & AUT DIFF; BMP' TSJ (THYROID); hematology; urinalysis;chemistry.

From what the report says, most everything is within normal range. RED FLAGS seemed to be Glucose, Serum mine is 100 normal range is 65-99.

Under HEMATOLOGY; MCH 31.9pg normal range is between 27.0 and 31.0.

MONO AUTO mine is 13.9% normal is 1.7 and 9.3. (that seems high and I think it has to do with anemia).

MPV mine is 10.9fl normal is 7.4 and 10.4.

WBC mine is 3.8 10^3 (what does that mean?) normal range 4.0 and 5.40.

LYMPH ABSOLUTE mine is 1.1 10^3 (?) normal range is 1.5 and 3.5.

BASO ABSOLUTE 0.0 10^3 (what is that?) normal range is 0.0 and 0.2

Under CHEMISTRY: CREATININE 0.50mg they have normal range is 0.52 and 1.04 but I understand that for women (me) is is 0.5 to 1.1

BUN/CREAT RATIO mine is 24.00 normal is 6.00 and 20.00.

Everything else seem in the normal range.

The only item that I can understand is glucose testing number, I am afraid other numbers I do not understand, this is because I am concentrating with cholesterol and glucose. In UK there is HbA1C testing, this test look for oxygenated blood flow over 90 days. If the numbers are high, medication is offered and also yearly check up and eye screening.

You can control glucose by taking Sri Lankan cinnamon stick boiled, 1/2 cup in the evening warm, and the other 1/2 cup cold for the morning.

Then there turmeric, you can sprinkle cinnamon and turmeric in porridge, no sugar added! A lot of green leaf veg.

One more (Methi) this is a green leaf veg, grown from fenugreek, this has bitter taste. You can use it in cooking, soften it by putting it in water and eating or can get in in powder form. You may be able to order the Indian stuff on line.

Recently I read that rosemary is also good, I can buy this in supermarket and I use it with my dinner, sprinkle fresh rosemary and little olive oil. It is very difficult to start this because of the taste, I am used to it now.

I take it aspirin is for blood thinning? Do you have any heart problem? Sorry to ask this.

about 6 months or so ago, my doctor did test for cholesterol and diabetes and other stuff. Everything looked great she said. She does keep mentioning something about my thyroid, but, I have such an aversion to medicine that I am trying to do food therapy. I've gotten this far w/o meds and I intend to keep going. I think I just need a little tweaking with the right food.

It is good you are enjoying life without medication.

I have read a lot about fruitflow, I am afraid it is early days.

Aspirin or no aspirin, only a specialist can answer this.

I am unable to take aspirin because of allergy. If I need to thin my blood my doctor has to find another medication.
