Full understanding blood test

Had a printed copy of my six monthly blood test, 32 items in all with results, 16 serum, 8 count and 8 others.

Have an appointment to discuss the blood test with my GP to find out on the comments 2, low and 5 , high.

Most of the time people talk about high cholesterol and high blood glucose.

My question is "Do we need to get a full understanding of the total blood test result?
