High triglycerides or low HDL cholesterol?

The University of Leeds are conducting a 4 week diet trial aimed at reducing high triglycerides or raising low 'good' HDL cholesterol.

If you have been diagnosed with either of these, and not taking medication to treat it, please contact us.

You will need to be able to travel to the University of Leeds 3 times over the next 6 weeks for morning appointments.

    We would like to find out if eating pancakes containing these ingredients can improve ‘good’ HDL cholesterol levels in your blood.

    We are looking for men and women who wear the following waist size to get in touch and have a cholesterol health check:

    •Men 36+ inches (large)

    •Women size 14+

    We are recruiting until mid-March 2015 and the 4 week trial begins in February.

    There is a £20 gift voucher reward for completion of the study.

    The study has ethical approval from the University of Leeds Faculty of Mathematics and Physical Sciences and Engineering Research Ethics Committee (MEEC 13-027) and the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust R&D Department (CP14/11315).
