Hi, I found this NHS information about trials of a new drug, AMG145, for dyslipidaemia and hypercholesterolaemia, including FH, and those who are intolerant to statins. You may already have come across this, but I have not seen it posted. There is more information about this and similar new drugs on the internet, but I thought this most relevant as it is UK info. There is a link at the bottom of the page which gives more information.

There are still some reported side effects with AMG, but it sounds like a good idea to have an alternative to statins. Longer term effects will be known after a 5 year follow up.

I found this report, with larger print and diagrams, which gives a good explanation.
