I'm sorry 😔. Definitely a breakdown in civilized society. Hoping things are going a bit better now. I've been going through a neverending tsunami of things myself. People who act badly make it all so much harder.🙋
ah thats ok! Thats what is so lovely about being able to write to you all. We’ve ALL been there……. And once its been said, things often seem brighter.
So I'm usually pretty confident and have a positive attitude about my scars but I caught a kid on the metro taking a photo of the scar on the back of my head today and it really made me feel down.
Yeah.... yes. yes. yes. I'm flying right on your wing tip there.

Thanks for the support. My confidence took a knock for a moment and I needed to vent but I'm okay. The real problem is with the parents. I'm an educator and the kids I teach love me for me. This was just one kid that hasn't been taught to be accepting.
Just remember that the problem is never the child.
The problem is the adult training them, from whom they take their lead.
Sounds like you need to arrange a serious conversation with the adults supervising the child who's problem.....
The kid was a complete stranger, so not possible to do any of that.
