Ask for double up/with partner clients - they are great way to learn. Always attend training and shadowing. Just remember to read care plan - shower or strip wash, medication and breakfast or lunch or dinner as client wants it(mostly microwave food). Some plans are in electronic form and they will show you how to access. Any problems or questions always ask office and they are very helpful

My agency told me to read the instructions and laws and make sure I am not violating anything of these: lead-academy.org/blog/confi... , Any one can explain the chart please?

i was a care home manager for many years, are you wanting to work with the elderly or ypunger people ? Either way, training is provided. You stand more chance of being successful if you are flexible as to when you will work and you have to bear in mind that full shifts are 12 hours usually to include alternate weekends and bank holidays
