Sometimes we forget that children don't quite get the whole picture and it's easy for this to happen over the holiday that is Easter.
We choose, according to our beliefs, to celebrate it as a part of faith, or in a secular way as a new beginning, or as a mixture of two things, with Easter eggs and family fun. Small wonder then that a small child might get utterly confused.
Today I'm just going to leave you with this delightful example, as pictured.
A great quote Callendersgal that made me laugh out loud. I’ll have to send it to my eldest son and daughter.
Our two year old grandson didn’t know which chocolate treat to eat first and our granddaughter was thrilled with the Peter Rabbit bag I put her goodies in. Kids are so funny. Our eldest grandson, nearly 8, was more thrilled with a Harry Potter pen l included for him. Easily pleased.
Enjoy this very different Easter Day as much as you can.
Well, here we are at the end of Easter Sunday. I sounds as if it went well for you and you both had a pleasant day. I actually enjoyed mine. It was just the absence of wider family that was different. Glad you like the quote. Bless them, Easter's quite a tough one for kids to get a handle on!
I'm so glad your grandchildren had a lovely chocolatey time! It does make you wonder at times when they randomly prefer something you added to a gift as a little add-on. But whatever makes them happy I say.
