Spring fever

Hi everyone. I hope your Friday is going OK so far.

Quite a lot of us have been mentioning a longing for spring to arrive, and there are signs now appearing in nature to say that it is finally on its way, and it’s a beacon of hope for milder, brighter things to come again. Although not everyone in the world gets to live with changes of season, I think everyone can understand what a blessing it is after a cold and dreary winter. Spring could even be seen as a metaphor for life in general.

From time to time throughout life everyone find themselves in personally dark, lonely or frightening places, and it can seem endless, but like spring, in time we can experience an entirely different season of life.

With that in mind I decided to post a few quotes about spring.

For any of you who are feeling sad or overburdened or afraid, I hope that better times will come for you soon.

And the attached picture of the crocuses and snowdrops forging their way through the cold earth towards the sun is a little reminder that there's always hope.

I love Spring and look forward to seeing flowers breaking out everywhere and blossom in the trees. My beautiful fuschia is starting to bud.

Spring shows such promise and today has been lovely so far. Mind you, I’m a bit wary about Sunday and storm Ciara.

How lovely to have a fuchsia in bud. It's so lovely to see the signs of plant life wakening up and the sunshine's been so welcome. But like you I have my 'weather' eye on storm Ciara. It looks as if we are going to be in for a rough weekend. Take care of that fuchsia! Enjoy your weekend sassy59. x
