Good morning to everyone on this lovely caring community from all the MAS Nurses.
How has your week been, we would all love to hear from you? It doesn't matter if it's something that you have experienced that is uncomfortable or has made you angry. Let us know and share with us.
I wish to take this opportunity as it is a caring week from charities like Meningitis and Cancer care to thank all of the members that contribute on here, to help others struggling (including us nurses sometimes) with uplifting replies and fantastic support.
On another note I also would like to wish you all a happy weekend as it looks like the end of this amazing Autumn sunshine.
Why not have your say this week ……….. let us all know, sad, angry or happy we want to share with you. Because You are what makes this community.
Best wishes all,
MAS Nurse & Moderator.

thank you all for your good wishes Everything is working out very well and I am settling in very well. We still have not got irritated with each other in spite if me cluttering up his home with packing boxes until a couple of days ago so that bodes well I think. It is so nice to be sharing a home with someone lovely again
Our dear granddaughter is 5 today so we’re off to celebrate with her and family later. She’s very excited.
We’ve had a good week but I find myself thinking more and more about how ill Pete was last November with severe sepsis and cellulitis. It haunts us both still. I’m determined all will be well but also dread the onset of winter. This is something I just have to get my head around.
Thank you to everyone for being so supportive and wishing you all a good weekend. Xxxx
Hope you had a wonderful time celebrating with your granddaughter yesterday. Life's such a rollercoaster isn't it? It's sometimes very hard to set down the hard times and each one leaves its memory and fears with us. It's a good thing that eventually things balance out generally and that we have compensations like celebrating with loved ones.
It must also be hard contemplating the start of winter when you hate it so. It's such a long period of time. I hope at least that there won't be any repetitions of the bad time Pete had last November. Wishing you both at least a smooth transition into the winter months this year. With love. X

Thank you so much Callendersgal, your kind and thoughtful words are much appreciated.
I’m sure we’ll get through this together and I know I have support here.
Enjoy your weekend. Xxxx
Hi MAS_Nurse,
I've just returned from my break in Cumbria which was absolutely wonderful. I'm tired from all the extra activity and travel but have some lovely new memories to sustain me through the winter months.
Today, tired out and broke, I look at another hill.... of washing to be tackled. Can you hear the big sigh? But it's part and parcel of a lovely holiday, and must be faced.
Adding my own note of good wishes to anyone here who are here via the Meningitis and Cancer Care communities and who do add to the melting pot of information, love and concern we have here at the Care Community.
Love and best wishes to everyone one here. I think we are all very special people in a very close-knit group!
Whatever joys, sorrows or difficulties anyone is facing this week I hope that everyone is blessed in some way this weekend.
