Good morning to all the Carers, how was your week? Good or hard we would love to hear about it on this very caring community.

Wasn't it good to read all the answers from Alex at Irwin Mitchell and I hope it clarified some issues surrounding the Care Act. A very big thank you for his time.

Now, how are you all keeping this week?

My best friend of many years had her operation this week and I have been using my knowledge to care for her as she recovers. Fortunately we were told yesterday that the results look very promising, time will tell. That is my good news - please share yours with us all.

Or if it has been a difficult, and trying time this week - share that with us too, a listening ear always help to share the burden and shows you that people care.

Anyway best wishes to everyone and have a good week end where ever you are and what ever you are doing.

MAS Nurse.

I hope your friend goes from strength to strength and things turn out well.

My week hasn’t been great but it’s nothing to do with Pete. A bit of a crisis affecting our youngest son who’s struggling with depression.

Hope next week is a better one.

Happy Father’s Day to all dads on Sunday. Hope the sun shines on everyone. Xxxx

Hi sassy my son also suffers with depression after a bad road accident 2 years ago in which he suffered 2 skull fractures plus other injuries which resulted in many scars mostly on his head & face. It's such a worry when they are suffering as all we can do is be there for them although it's so hard to see them going through this awful illness. I wish you & your son all the very best & hope he gets the help he needs xx

So sorry to hear sassy59. Thinking of you and hoping for a better week next week. Take care, all of you.

Hi MAS-Nurse,

Great to hear that you've had some good news this week!

I have nothing much to report, but sometimes isn't that a wonderful thing?

No excitements but no special difficulties either and I think sometimes it's good to acknowledge that no news is good news!

Best wishes to everyone else, however your week has been. If it's been less than good, I hope that next week will be better for you.
