There are lots of websites about this, look at them and see which seems best for you

Hello Cardmaking_1960

Thank you for your message. As you say , diet can be important to help with diverticulitis.

Do you have support from your doctor?

The following websites may have more information.

The ibsnetwork has a forum on health unlocked so you may get more support from members there.

You may need to look at having plenty of fibre in your diet, fruit and vegetables, beans and cereals all have good levels of fibres. You may want to keep a food and symptoms diary so that you can assess what is helping or not.

Let us know how you get on.

Best wishes

Hi Cardmaking_1960,

I see that you have just signed up to this group, so a very warm welcome to you. I see that MAS_Nurse and exhaustedwife have already given you helpful answers and I'd just add that it can be useful not only to look online for general advice, but to look at diverticulitis 'friendly' recipes too, as sometimes it's a problem after diagnosis, just thinking about what to cook that won't make your condition worse.

Here's a link to several sites that have recipes which might help you.

healthhearty.com/diverticul...

westernsussexhospitals.nhs....

(sorry the web address for that second one is quite long, but maybe you can cut and paste it. It's very sensible dietary advice from West Sussex Hospitals NHS)

Best wishes to you, and like MAS_Nurse I'd be interested to hear about how you get on.
