The older i get most things dont matter very much at all.

The older I get the more I value honesty. The older I get the more I value connection. The older I get the more I value integrity and consistency.

The older I get the less I care about belongings. The older I get the less I care about status.

The older I get the less I care about what everyone else thinks.

The older I get the more I realize I don’t really need a lot to be happy. The older I get I realize what God has said really is true. The older I get I realize every doughnut I’ve ever eaten has been worth it.

I couldn’t agree more secrets. A great philosophy on life I feel.

I most definitely don’t care what anyone thinks of me.

Take care xxxx

It's true isn't it Roddy? We're able to strip back all the window dressing as we age and see what really matters in life, much more. My favourite thing about the wisdom of older age is probably not worrying about what other people think. It's not that I want to do anything outrageous, but if others choose to judge me, I can just shrug it off because it just doesn't matter. I think it helps that vanity and ego start to leave us too! Wisdom's the great consolation of older age! 😊👍

Wisdom over all!❤️

I feel that it's when tragedy strikes it makes me reevaluate what's important and what isn't.

How are you and the dogs?

Baby has been driving us mad with her bad tempered meows about the heat!

Totally agree , all these things come with advanced age and I’ve also felt a big change in myself too since I retired three years ago . I think it s because we finally have time to relax ( to a certain extent ) , to stop rushing around missing what’s really important, to have time to see the beauty of nature and literally wake up and smell the coffee and appreciate the small stuff . 🐶💐🌳☕️❤️
