Did anybody see bbc tv debate on hospital’s and social care.

Well given my own experiences with Alzheimer’s Dementia sepsis hip replacement.

I can say the bbc as got it so wrong.

In the furry to blame sick disabled patients elderly NOT once was hospital neglect negligence TALKED about.

As contrabutry factor in longer hospital stays higher social care cost.

Well am here to say is factor AS my dad’s horrendus hospital stay following hip replacement THEN sepsis aki renal failure following poor post operative care neglect added a month and two week on my dad’s recovery.

Yet you won’t hear much about hospital neglect contributing to longer stays higher social care cost.

My Dad was a bed blocker but they decided to move him to a care home, but it had to be one were there 24 hour medical care available. Even though he still needed medical and could not come home, shortly after he died the council sent us a bill. I thought medical care was free.

Hi jeffMett so sorry to read about your dad and I would not of wore that for one min IF your dad needed medical care he should been in hospital AND what ever hospital try’s to do should be down to them.

I hope Hospital messing about did not play any part in your dad’s determination

Hi Jeff, I'm sorry but I didn't see that debate, I was watching another. Just a thought but why don't you email the BBC about your story and point of view? On occasions when trying to express my views on other topics to other companies, I've even found Twitter useful to make an initial contact. Your views are valid and no one can criticize your personal experience. It may be a positive way to channel your frustration and anger. Just a thought.

Best wishes,

MAS Nurse

Hi MAS Nurse thanks for reply USALY reporters will look through internet for human intrest story’s

Most will pick up story carry it forward AS to me don’t think this much fight in me these days WELL unless someone something rattle’s my cage.

And was looking at my dad and watching that AND it’s blame public not once but all the time.

The say it’s most cost effective thing to do than own up to the own misgivings.

Hi JeffAjaxSmith,

I too missed that particular documentary but I can see from what you've written that it definitely didn't represent your experiences and that's really upset you.

I think MAS_Nurse's idea of contacting the BBC to give your own point of view on the subject is a good one.

They won't always engage in a debate with you about that particular program, but your views will be taken on-board and it might encourage them to give the other point of view next time.

Best wishes.
