I finally got through to them and was told Birkenhead was experiencing problems, they would chase it up for me and try and hurry it along a bit, so I’ll carry on waiting X

Hi Nichola1971, That's great news. Persistence is sometimes the only thing that works. It's really annoying to have to spend hours on the phone though. Now I guess it has to be patience that will get you through. I suppose it takes so long because of the volume of applications they receive. Still, you know now that at least everything is on track.
