My mum used to care for my dad, until unfortunately, last July he went into hospital. He has parkinsons /. Dementia.
He's now in care home. He gets the higher rate disability. He also gets care component. Should he still get the care component now he is in a home.

Hello di594
It isn't quite that simple!! It never is.
He should keep his mobility and depending on who is paying for his care...depends whether he keeps it. Is it funded by local authority or privately.
The best answer is to call DWP and ask them.
