Widowed again! I hope your trip to Iceland with your daughter will be the beginning of many fresh experiences in your new life. My daughter and her husband are planning a June trip there. Thanks for posting the photo of you and the delightful little girl who I assume is your granddaughter.

Hello NPBD and a very warm welcome to this community. Sorry to hear you have lost your husband. This is a difficult time and it is perfectly understandable that you would be feeling fatigued. Lovely photograph and glad to see you are spending time with the family. This is a good place to share and I am sure our members will be along with their experiences. Enjoy your trip and keep in touch.

Good morning, sorry to hear you are recently bereaved for a second time. But you can take solace in the fact that your husband is at peace now. Time for you to have some me time with the family, well earned in my thinking. I am a widow of some years but have built a new life to spite health problems like yourself. Take time to greive, take careand hope all turns out as you would wish.

I am so sorry to hear that you have been widowed again. Life is not very fair is it? I was widowed and my 2nd husband now has a rare form of dementia so I will almost certainly find myself in your shoes before too long.

I hope that you have a wonderful time away with your daughter and that it will help. The big church in Rejavik is all white inside and so beautiful and simple I think that you would find peace there.

All the best

Alixx
