My son has only last week had two major heart operations, triple bypass and aorta bypass. He is unable to care for himself and his partner is wanting to care for him. Is she entitled to any form of benefit as she will be caring for him full time.

Hello Littleloobs

Welcome to the site although I'm sorry for the reason that brings you here and hope your son is making a good recovery. As to allowances and benefits these depend on individual circumstances. Please follow the pinned post on the right first; others in the community will follow with some examples to help I expect.

Best wishes

As long as his partner is caring for him 35 hrs per week she should be entitled to carers allowance & income support if he gets PIP the care rate either standard or enhanced rate
