Left ear slight loss of high tones

Hi there.

I’m new to this community.in mostly on the adhd commute.

So I’ve seen an audiologist, wow I actually found a specialist who listens to my chat and what I’ve learned about the good old tinnitus.

So I’ve the highest freaking tone in my left ear.

I’ve had the left ear go so bloody high that then I go deaf in the left ear the tone swaps to right ear like a really high tone.the right ear then goes quiet and deaf as the high tone then swaps back to left rear.

Does any one have the left or right ear actually feel as though it’s vibrating?

Since I saw the audiologist my ear feels all clogged and pain ful

Oh but before that in the last few months it feels as though I’ve spiders crawling around in my east.

I’ve to go to have an mri scan on my head.

I was asked if I had had any head trauma.

Yes I said,at the age of 18 I was thrown over the front of a bike at 90mph.

I was the passenger and came of slightly worse.

I’m now 47.i actually found out by purchasing my own X-rays that t7,t8 and t9 I’ve fused wedge fractures to my spine.

Amazing how a sports therapist I PAYED for saw that my spine wasn’t correct.

All that complaining to my doc and Matt clinicians.

This made me laugh.some 5 yrs ago I saw the top nhs Physio therapist.

He said my spine looked normal and I was most probably born in pain.

I then showed him my X-ray.

He just said well nothing we coujd have done about that in 1988.

I mentioned that I coujd have been strapped up.

Yeh and it just goes on and on.sorry to have a moan.

It’s pretty difficult when every year somet else pops up.

Thank for listening.

I’m sure I didn’t bore you lol

Hiya. So are you coping Ok, or (as the title suggests), have you got a problem with a ‘slight loss of high tones in your left ear?’

Hi there asw21

I guess I’m coping ok.

As most ppl say it’s in the evening that’s worse obviously as it’s so quiet.

It’s just my left ear is really starting to feel congested since the audiologist mucked around with it.

I listen to some bianaural beats on my iPhone to drown out the high pitch.

I did find an amazing app that would basically equalise and balance both ears.that was really interesting as you would match the tone from the app to your ear and the noise would cancel out but I’ve bloody lost it lol.
