Bronchiectasis…..not sure of my newly acquired Aerosure

Hi Fellow mucus clearers…Having now purchased my Aerosure I’m not finding it very effective.. wondering if I’m doing it correctly🙄

(Also don’t like the sensation of it rattling my teeth & / fluttering my checks.. but will have to try and get used to that)

Only used it 5 times but not managed to bring up mucus and has to revert back to my aerobica.

Can your use the device more than once a day? .. instructions not very clear

Is the mucus supposed to come up straight away or do you have to do breathe it up for a while afterwards?…. Anyone used the Breathe easy mode as well to maybe help it along?

Was hoping the Aerosure would speed things up for me a little.. anyone found it does for them ?

I take NAC twice a day to think my mucus which helps

Any advice or just your observations would be really appreciated..🙏

Hi Phill1. I have one & used it 3xday. I was gasping when I started using it & it cleared my breathing, not much phlegm brought up but it made breathing easier. Good luck!

Thanks for info... Are you using it on the breathe easy mode or mucus clearance?... Waiting for a mouth ulcer to disappear.. Then I'll give it another go🤞

I did not find it helpful at all. I was using it right after a breathing treatment. There are YouTube videos you can watch on airway clearance techniques which should include the instructions on using the flutter device that you have.

Thanks for that.. I do autogenic drainage along with the aerobika... Which works most days...Glad I'm not the only one finding the aerosure difficult... Will be giving it another go at the weekend🤞
