candida in sputum

Hi everyone, I’m new here .

I’ve had asthma since 2 and regular chest infections. I’m currently struggling with a chest infection since December, I’ve had 2 courses of antibiotics but I still don’t feel right.

I suspect I may have Bronchiecstatis, I’m awaiting a referral to respiratory.

I had results today from a sputum test that showed candida and to contact gp.

I’m worried about this , can it be treated and is it something connected to Bronchiecstatis?
