I’ve been suffering from Bronchiectasis for the 30 years, lately I’ve been congested, my doctor subscribed leviquin and prednisone for me but after the meds are done, the congestion comes back....I may need to go back on gentimycin through the Nebulizer ......help!

Hi, have you managed to get any result with dr? I didn’t realise you could neb gentomicin. My mum has only ever had it via IV. Do you find this helps with exacerbations? My mum is in a cycle of being on doxycycline then as soon as she stops, she gets chesty again yet her sputum is clear and her bloods don’t indicate infection. Dr doesn’t seem interested in getting to bottom of it at all.
