fatty liver and tamoxifen

have been dx with fatty liver( after scan for kidney pain) and am currently taking tamoxifen as had breast cancer last year , have read that this can be a side effect from this and was wondering if any one in the "same boat" and what the treatment was ie did you stop tamoxifen ? and if some what did you take instead
