Liver pain year after resection desperate

Had resection a year ago for liver cancer in agony tried a block it lasted 2 days. Unbearable on heavy heavy narcotics only. Bedridden doctors just say take pain meds but the sude effects and amounts are making me comotose. At the end of my tether please any ideas. Sorry but its torture and wish now i never had surgery its that bad. Any ideas would be most welcome.
