Hello!

I was diagnosed with NAFLD following blood tests and an ultrasound scan back in January this year. Since then I have lost almost 3 stone through exercising and ensuring I walk for 30-60 minutes a day. I haven't had to change my diet very much as I've always eaten a well balanced diet with minimum fat and processed foods, and plenty of fruit and veg. However, my blood test results continue to rise, and my blood tests last week have shown my cholesterol is high, and my bilirubin which has always been okay is now high too. My HBA1C blood sugars has reduced (not high before but had been creeping up). The bloods also showed a couple of Kidney results a little low - urea and EGFR. I have a phone call appointment with my GP to discuss, but I'm just feeling a little bit lost if that's the right word? It feels like no matter what I try nothing seems to be helping my liver and it's a little scary seeing results go up. My GP has been great with giving me lots of advice and support, keeping in touch with me and keeping a check on me which has been amazing, but I was just wondering if anyone else is going through the same/similar thing just so I'm not feeling quite so alone with all of this!

Thank you
