Yesterday I had a NHS health check and the Nurse asked me if I get the Flu jab. I said that I usually go to Superdrug cos it's only £10. She said I was entitled to the free one because I have NAFLD. I asked her if I was entitled to the Covid jab but she didn't know and couldn't find anyone to ask. Does anyone know please ?

if you qualify for the Covid vaccine you would get a text, people on immunosuppressants qualify. I’m under 65 and had shingles and pneumonia jabs due to being on immunosuppressants for life as I have AIH.
Yes to both vaccinations. I had them both last week on the same day but different arms. Having PBC that qualifies you as high risk having an autoimmune disease. I booked mine online with NHS England and it had a choice of nearby chemists offering it and you just tick you are high risk
I would speak to your GP, I get covid and flu now as I’m recently diagnosed with GSD1A but I didn’t get it before when I had NAFLD and FNH. But things change
I got a text from my GP saying I was eligible for Covid and flu. Going next week. I have cirrhosis. Having said that I wasn’t eligible for the spring Covid jab, where the criteria is stricter.
Update:- I went onto the NHS Covid booking website, entered my details and booked at a pharmacy. I thought they might say I wasn't eligible when I got there but they didn't so I'm now vaccinated 👍 I actually didn't receive any texts for flu or covid from Drs 🤔
