blood test with significantly elevated AST

Hello

I did a blood test about a months ago and my AST was 42 and ALT was 54 which was elevated, My doctor then asked for a hepatitis B can C test which all came back negative, my weigh was 86kg then and my blood glucose was high too.

A month after the previous result I did the test again and it came back with an AST of 62 and an ALT of 55. I am not alcoholic, I change my diet and also started exercising to lose weight and I now weigh 77kg.

Why will my AST increase while the ALT stays almost the same, my doctor said I should not worry about it the same thing he said a month ago.

I need some help, I would like to get other opinions on this.
