Advice please

Hi

I wondered if anyone can help with a little advice please ?

My partner with liver cirrhosis is struggling with pain and Diarrhea , the consultant asked me to drop a stool sample in on Monday, which i did he said he would be in contact as he said he might need to give her something for her pancreas , she has had acute pancreatitis twice the year. He said he would call this week , but hasn't i rang and left a message this morning and no call back. I don't want her to be in pain, and well she is struggling to eat and looks drained very pale. Do i wait for him to contact me , GP on monday who i'm not sure will know what to do. Or is it a&e which could just spit her out quickly if we get the wrong doctor.

I wonder if anyone has had experience ? i also wonder if i am just over keen and need more patience.

That does sound worrying. Could you ring 111 for advice? They can get a doctor to ring you back and arrange for A&E attendance if necessary. Hope you can get something sorted out soon.

Call 111. Explain her history of pancreatitis, liver cirrhosis. They may advise A&E.

Hopefully it's something and nothing but it's better to get this checked.

Thank you for your advice , i'm going to call them , i'm pretty sure it could be pancreatitis as its the left side and back and well swelling and diarrea.
