High sodium alkaline phosphate - 139 (normal drinker)

Hi

This post isn’t about me (a recovering alcoholic, sober 3.5yrs!) but my completely normal, low level of alcohol intake, partner!

He had some bloods run as part of a routine check up for his age (46) and they’ve had him back in for full LFTs / scan next week as his ALP was 139..

When I say normal drinker, I mean it - he’s a two / three pints Friday & Saturday type of perfect weight.

not massively concerned and I’m so aware of process he’s on with scan / bloods etc due to my past but obviously almost more concerning as he is totally “normal” and not unwell..our only thought is we both suffer dreadfully with our back / shoulders due to jobs and take ibuprofen daily… could this have impacted?

Any advice appreciated
