Have any of you ever heard of sialosis, or sialadenosis? If so, do you know how common it is in people with liver conditions?

Anyone at all?
Just did a quick lookie see on the internet as I've never heard of it during my 12 year participation on the forum. It can be linked with alcohol use, diabetes, some toxins medicines and the autoimmune condition Sjogrens amongst others.
I think my husband has it, he is speaking very funny lately and it can cause slurred speech. It has not been diagnosed as such, since he will not see a doctor.
Another potential cause of slurred speech in cirrhosis (and more common) would be Hepatic Encephalopathy - toxins building up in his system and affecting his brain. It can be treated with lactulose and Rifaximin. It csn be a very dangerous condition.
