Muscle and Joint Pain

Hi everyone,

I am having more muscle and joint pain, especially lower back, hips and sides of thighs…..

I am not home so won’t see my GP for a while yet. Can anyone recommend something that’s not going to affect my PBC adversely?

Much appreciated!

I use the heating pad. It helps.

I was using that…but i have burns on my backside! I took the covering off for more heat and fell asleep! It was kind of funny…..(smile)

Hey Gaspereaux- take a hot bath …. Bubble bath! I bought some goat milk body wash that makes my skin really soft. (Don’t fall asleep!! lol)

Use a tennis ball or roller (I have one from running) to roll your muscles … meaning put it on the floor and lie on it massaging the sore muscles with your body weight.

Try the yoga pose “legs up a wall” on a block. It stretches / relaxes the lower back.

Hope this helps!

All of these things! Epsom salts are also good for joint pain and can be purchased fairly inexpensively in places like Savers or Home Bargains if you're in the UK.
