Can I trust this?

2015 benign liver tumour removed. Diagnosed with NASH. Told I would be in trouble within 10 years. Been thinking about that every single day since. If I had any pain in my abdomen, I would worry that I'm getting into the trouble the doctor mentioned. Blood tests have been good.

Lots of abdominal pain and swelling over past six months. Finally given an ultrasound last week. They said everything looks normal. Everything. No sign of NASH. Burst into tears because I thought I was going to be told bad news.

I was so relieved and happy, but it's hard to believe it. Perhaps they assessed too quickly, as she told me there and then. I still have the symptoms so will need to return to my GP. Not received the report yet.

I realise I should be happy and move on, but I have this disbelief and fear.

Is the ultrasound reliable? Thank you 😊
