I dug out my blood 🩸 work today to refresh myself of my diagnosis , and decided to input them into the CP calculator .On discharge I was given a CP B with a score figure of 9 , everything was inputed correctly and noticed that the only figure out of range was Bilirubin , so with exertion calculated it came back as CP B but a score figure of 7 , am I missing something here as the figures used were totally correct , any advice would be greatly appreciated , kind regards and many thanks , Will.

Hi wp69,
This is a question that your own health care professional is best placed to answer, as only they have access to your medical records.
We suggest talking this through with your own doctor or health care professional in the first instance.
Best wishes

Thanks , I was just wondering if any one had similar experiences
I would have thought it makes no difference whether it's 7 or 9 - still Child Pugh B. Maybe the 9 you were told was calculated on other hospital bloods at the time of your initial diagnosis rather than the results you've used.
Hubby has never been provided with information re. his Child Pugh nor any details of bloods - even when he was on transplant list we never knew his UKELD/MELD score.
