Have these tests been ordered/done by your doctor? You need to discuss results with your doctor or seek referral to liver doctor and follow their guidance.

Obviously continue to remain abstinent.

Liver elastography has been done by doctor and fibroscan done by operator. Can it wil be reversible???

ARFI mean velocity can be converted to kPa by using the relation 3*shear wave velocity^2, that is (3*1.07*1.07) = 3.43 kPa. It shows a normal liver. Kindly try for one more Fibroscan by a qualified Radiologist. Something is wrong.. Moreover in your ARFI reading check for any locations where wave speed has gone beyond 1.5m/s. That 1.07m/s you are referring may be mean value. There may be at least a few locations where it might have gone up . He might have mentioned wave velocity in 10 locations. Anyway it would be a better idea for repeat Fibroscan by a qualified , experienced radiologist.

My prayers for your health ..Let that 9kPa reading be an operator error ! . One more thing , liver condition corresponding to 9kPa is reversible with a disciplined lifestyle and intense exercise ..Don't worry.

Thanks for your reply.I had done blood test by SGOT-43, SGPT-94, SGOT/SGOT-0.46, A/G RATIO-1.55, BILIRUBIN IS NORMAL BUT PT-22.7 SEC AND INR-1.68, I HAVING ITCHING PROBLEM AND AFTER THAT RED PATCHES OCCURED. RIGHT NOW I M TAKING SAMBRACE 400 AND ATIVAM 2MG DAILY IN THE NIGHT. I DONT KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING BUT VERY MUCH COCERNED RELATED TO MY LIVER.

Your report incates fatty liver with some degree of early fibrosis both of which can be reversed to prevent further damage by complete abstinence from alcohol and a good, healthy diet and exercise. Are your stated medications being prescribed by a doctor?

I see that Sambrace is an Indian medication for treating a specific type of liver disorder "Sambrace 400 Tablet is a medicine used for the treatment of liver disease associated with reduced bile formation (intrahepatic cholestasis). " Not necessarily the type of liver illness you've got going on.

Your Ativam - is that being used for anxiety, sleeping issues? It contains lorexepam which is a benzodiazepine. Long term use can be addictive but not necessarily harmful to your liver.

Itching may be nothing to do with your liver though it could be. Imprpving your liver health is key and it can be done.

All the best, Katie

Your report from radiologist clearly states 'Mean ARFI of 1.07 suggestive of fatty liver' - kPa of 9 is F2 on the fibroscan score chart for alcohol related liver disease. Therefore it's as I said all suggestive of totally reversible fatty liver with early fibrosis.
