Can liver related nausea be intermittent?

I've been nauseous for about three weeks. Some days it's constant, others it comes in waves or occasionally I get a great day with no nausea at all! This has started after repeated high liver enzymes and I'm waiting on a referral to a liver Doctor but the waiting list is long.

In my head I imagine that if the nausea was liver related it would be constant not intermittent, therefore im making a fuss out of nothing.

In your experience, is liver related nausea constant, intermittent or can it be both?

Also, do you know why?

My nausea is mostly in the first half of the day. It's significantly reduced or completely disappears in the evening and at night . This has been going on for about four years. I think it might have something to do with the accumulation of toxins over the night. It's also possible that the level of nausea is influenced by the parasympathetic nervous system whose activity increases during the night.

Mine is intermittent, I can go days without nausea then weeks with it. I take anti emetics, wear acupressure bands, drink Lucozade and ginger tea.
