coma from mental confusion from cirossis

my husband was in a coma for 2 days he woke up and seem better for a couple days now he is sleepy and confused what can I expect from here

It will be hepatic encephalopathy I had it myself they put me on on lacterlose to make you go to the toilet 2 to three times a day to stop the toxins going to brain it worked for me and some antibiotics called rixaflam

how long did it take for things to get better my husband is taking the 2 same medications as you but he seems good some days then some days he is off

after about 4 to 6 weeks but that only happened after i stopped drinking they still thing l got a bit now but no way near what it was like when i was drinking

he is in the hospital he seems to be having good and bad days

He's obviously quite poorly at the present time so doctors will be doing all they can to stabilize his condition. It's not clear what country you are in so can't offer advice on next steps.
