Your Opinion about Whey Protein Powder for ALD?

Hello Lovely People,

I see contradicting information online about the use of whey protein and Liver health. I don't have a dietician here in states. But, I'm feeling very weak, shaky legs, muscle pains from last 2 weeks. In your opinion is it safe to use one scoop of whey protein isolate with the morning oatmeal? And, what strategy did you use to cope up with the weakness, muscle pain/weakness. Does it get better with the time?

Thanks

I’d go to your GP and ask for a referral to a dietician. They can then assess your diet and prescribe protein supplements if needed. Don’t try to play around with supplements like whey powder yourself. Eat a high protein diet with lots of plant protein and chicken/turkey. I found drinking milk was also incredibly good for me. (Which is what whey powder is derived from).
