Total exhaustion

I am feeling that I can't go on like this much longer with this absolute and total exhaustion. Thought maybe some glucose, in the form of tablets, would help. Took them when I was doing my last exams - that was a few, or more, years ago ! Any ideas folks?

Have you had any recent bloods taken? Could be thyroid. Iron deficiency. Maybe best to speak to your GP and discuss your fatigue.

Hello. What condition do you have and how long have you had it? Do you eat well? I struggle every day with extremely low energy levels. I have to eat something every 2 to 3 hrs otherwise I start feeling weak. After eating I don't feel so bad.

Just wondering if they have checked your vit B12 levels - if it’s low it can massively impact your energy level

B12 supplements, 2mcg per day, ask to, have an Intrinsic factor test which is needed to allow body to absorb B12 from foodPPIs, antacids, alcohol and others can degrade your parietal cells in stomache

Ask GP for possibility of regular B12 intramuscular injections, you can do these yourself into the thigh, but GP will advise

Following your post with interest. Have suffered nausea and exhaustion for years. I rely on lucozade, which is proberbly really bad but I can't function without the glucose.

I suffer really badly with fatigue and so take a vit d supplement, b12 and also have a one scoop protein shake before I go to bed. My consultant said it will help to replenish what the day has taken out of me. Also like Aztec632 , I eat regularly. Ive found it helps with keeping energy levels consistent.

Sorry to gear that you are feeling poorly. Have you had blood tests to determine the reason for feeling like you do? A consultant arranged a vitamin D test several years ago as I had no energy and was constantly fatigued. I was highly deficient in Vit.D and he prescribed a course, which changed my life.
