Cranberry juice
Hi Suduko,
If you have a urinary tract infection it is important to get some clinical guidance from your own doctors about appropriate treatment.
Thank you
Shrimp I also have bladder issues ,after your Dr appointment to confirm your issue. My Dr recommend fresh blueberrys have a small dish every nite has really kept it at bay. Cheryle
Yes you can drink it and it’s very good for bladders
Only if you have consulted a Dr about the urinary infection first.
Hi, my Mum kept getting UTIs with liver disease. She had repeated antibiotics that didn’t seem to help. Her GP did a referral to a urologist and he prescribed a preventative medication which was a massive help. Cranberry juice may help but a trip to the GP would definitely be worthwhile
There is mixed evidence supporting the use of cranberry juice. I'm pretty sure most recently I read there is no real evidence to support it, but of course medically the jury is out. Personally I just drink loads of water and flush it out that way.
I couldn't take cranberry juice but drink loads of water
When I went on hols (back in the dim and distant past!!!), I got a severe UTI. Through the wonders of Google translate, the pharmacist recommended something, which worked really fast, but I carried on drinking plenty of water. Wish I knew what it was because I would have this over anything I've been prescribed here. Nowadays I just drink water and that seems to sort it. Thankfully not had one for a good while.
